The Shelby County United Way funds over 29 programs in the impact areas of Health, Youth, Families, Crisis, Seniors and Community Initiatives through the annual allocation process. An agency must have been awarded funding in the previous year to apply. New requests must requested by contacting the United Way office 937-492-2101 and approved by the Executive Committee before granted access to the allocation database. Smaller "special project grants" are awarded year around.
